21 Foot Long Marble Clad Touch-Table
At Ideum, I designed a marble touch table for a corporate client. A consulting firm, IDEO, brought the project to Ideum with the outer design fleshed out. Based off of their design, I created the shop drawings while working closely with Gensler, IDEO, and the end-client to ensure that the end-product was exactly what they envisioned. Ideum's fabrication team, myself included, built the table's wooden interior frame then covered the frame in fiberglass to provide additional support. A local vendor, Rocky Mountain Stone, then applied the marble to the interior frame.
The table was built and shipped in five separate parts: three main sections and two doors. Once all of the parts had arrived at their final destination, the entire structure was pulled together to make one massive touch table. Ultimately, table included three Ideum 86" multi-touch displays, 88 motion sensors, and nearly 1,000 LED lights. As visitors approach the table the LED lights will change color and the software will activate near the visitor.

Improved Drafting Frame
I collaborated in the redesign Ideum's Multi-touch drafting table with Tom Nasca. Tom designed the bottom portion as Ideum's new standard touch table. That includes the base and the main section of the platform that houses the computer. In order to save on manufacturing costs, I utilized the standard Ideum touch table design and created new parts that can be attached to the standard table turning it into a drafting table. This new drafting table design can support a variety of screen sizes from 43" to 65" and has the ability for parts to be easily swapped to create a variety of screen.

3D Printed Sensor
I designed, prototyped, and tested three finger sensors that were to be attached to the side of a 53” touch screen to interact with a medical- based learning software. Each piece was 3D printed in-house first for testing and then again for the finished product.

New Mexico Film Kiosk at the Albuquerque Sunport
I designed a custom interactive kiosk that showcases film and television shows that were produced in New Mexico. It included a touchscreen and an 86” viewing screen to create a cinematic experience. My co-worker created the outer appearance and I translated it into a functional kiosk. Additionally, I built a full-scale cardboard mock-up to convince the client that the overall scale was appropriate.
The kiosk includes an ADA compatible touch screen on the bottom and a light up map of New Mexico that glows to show a sets location.
